Truth of the Spirit with Patti Brunner discusses Fear vs Fear of the Lord by sharing a sinister tale of demonic manifestation. The Catechism helps us to understand fear as a passion. Fear of the Lord allows you to step forward in faith no matter what difficulty arises. Fear is generally thinking something bad is going to happen. Here’s the truth: Bad things can happen to good people but mostly they don’t. God is with you all the days—and nights—of your lives.
Rick Brunner speaks to the confusion about the “Truth about the Body of Christ” on this episode of “Truth of the Spirit” hosted by Patti Brunner. Baptized Christians are in the body of Christ. Using the Catechism and scripture, Rick brings clarity to these points: 1) One Baptism, one Lord, for all; 2) The judgment will be for sin not denomination; 3) The duty of a Catholic, who has been given fullness of truth; 4) The duty of other Christians who have been given a portion of truth yet fullness of life through Baptism; 5) The difficulties that men who are different find in sharing truth when truth is not understood because of training; 6) One in the Spirit; 7) Teaching of the Church concerning salvation for separated brothers and sisters in Christ. He then will share some of his personal history with separated brothers and sisters in Christ when lack of truth and with truth.
Part 7 of “The Lord Healed Them All” series, this episode covers “Efficacious Prayer for Healing”. Based on more than 20 years of experience in the healing ministry, Patti Brunner helps you identify key areas in praying for healing. The Lord hears every prayer and responds. His response is called ‘grace’. Hearts must be open to God’s grace.
Overcoming Demonic Barriers to Healing with Patti Brunner is Part 6 of the ‘Jesus Healed Them All’ series. Sometimes healings are blocked due to occult barriers. We are reminded in Ephesians 6 that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but spiritual forces of evil, such as spirits of infirmity, anxiety, addiction and spirits of fear. There are three types of demonic interference: Temptation, oppression and possession. The most frequent form of oppression is harassment. The enemy wants his victims to think there is no help or hope for them. Prayer may have to be repeated; wars have more than one battle and you may find yourself in spiritual warfare.
Healing Series based on “The Lord Healed Them All” continues with Part 3 “Followers of Jesus are Called to Heal” with Patti Brunner. Jesus used healing in compassion and as a tool for sharing the Kingdom of God. As you hear these scriptures you will hear Lord’s instruction, coaching us to continue his healing ministry, to follow his Way; they show us that healing continues to be a key part of the ministry of Jesus through the Holy Spirit. It is difficult for people to pray themselves when they are in pain except to cry out to God for relief. Do not fear praying and asking for healing. Remember: Jesus Heals!
The Lord Healed Them All – Introduction. When I recorded the podcast “Healing and Gifts of the Spirit” I promised to teach in depth about healing at a later time. Over the years through ministry, conferences, research and prayer, the Lord has helped me find various ways to bring His healing to others. What He has given to me, I share with you as a follow-up to “Sharing the Abundant Life”. As I shared in my personal testimony, “A Witness of Life in the Spirit”, the Lord poured out a charism for healing into my life to minister His healing. “The Lord Healed Them All” was originally prepared in a book form to use to present the ministry of healing to the deacons of my area to help them in their parish ministries. Healing ministers stir up hope, and then the Lord shall stir the faith in his people as signs and wonders manifest. I now offer this series to help you along your way as He calls you to healing, too.
Truth of the Spirit with Patti Brunner welcomes Rick Brunner for this episode about supernatural prayer of praying in Tongues. Praying in Tongues is easy and very helpful. The person does need good teaching and usually someone to help them begin. It is part of the Church’s Baptismal gifts. And unlike the other supernatural gifts of the Spirit which are given to different people as the Holy Spirit wills, this gift seems to be for everyone. Therefore we encourage all to receive it. St Paul says in 1 Cor. 14:5 that “Now I should like all of you to speak in tongues.”
