Truth of the Spirit with Patti Brunner continues to provide guidance by the Lord to help you realize how much God loves you even though we live in times of darkness. Know this: The Lord is the life come down to earth to replenish, to restore, to bring revival. Whenever you hear the sounding of the trumpet you know that action is to be taken: call to battle, call to prayer, or call to assembly. This I tell you truly, the days shall not be complete until the Son of Man appears upon the horizon to gather the people of God into the waiting arms of the Father. Fear not! Such a day shall be for the Glory of God and will be a day of rejoicing for those who love the Lord and call on his name. The trip–to the ‘desert’ to hold the Lord’s hand as you cross the chasms and the rocky splits, to step apart from the busyness of daily life–the trip has indeed begun. You will be in the midst of a crowd and God shall call you to come apart with Him. Do not hesitate. Quiet your heart and step aside into His Presence. You have a fear of saying the ‘wrong’ thing but the Lord shall fill you with a new confidence, a new boldness. You can continue to educate yourself on the teachings and records of the Church, but know this: your Teacher is the Holy Spirit. He shall give no ‘grades’ no ‘tests’ on what he has taught. Instead He asks you to open your heart and mind and soul and allow Him to pour in the fullness of what He shall teach you. And then from the abundance of the heart the mouth shall speak.
This year of difficulty shall fade as the Lord’s grace continues to bless you.
Welcome to Truth of the Spirit and part 2 of “Know This!” I’m your host Patti Brunner. Revelation 19:10 says, “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy”. As each of the prophets have found, it is not easy to speak God’s Word to the people—they reject you because they reject Jesus and they reject change. Sometimes they reject the idea that the Lord speaks to anyone. Other times they do not trust the individual prophet. When I teach, I always verify the information with the Catechism. But everything the Lord says to me is not a part of Canon Law; yet, the affirmations He makes available help me to discern the truth.
In November 2006 the Lord gave me a private message and told me: “The kingdom of earth is about to receive a ‘shaking’. Just like the shaking of a kettle of corn causes the kernels to go to the bottom of the pot where the heat is more intense so shall this shaking send those in need of the fire of God to an area where it is available readily. Do not fear the “shaking”. Nay, rejoice in it, for by this many shall turn to the Lord and be saved and (be) set free from the slavery of sin, of social mores that lead to death.” When I asked Him how to prepare, I heard: “You may prepare by reading and studying the word of God. As you know truth and proclaim it—you shall be free. The economy shall turn down sharply. Fortunes shall be lost and some shall profit on the loss of others. The Churches shall fill to capacity as people turn to the Lord in their need.”
Eager for people to turn to the Lord, I asked about the timeline. I did not yet understand that the Lord gives his prophets a long range head’s up. Rather than a direct answer, I heard: “You shall begin to see the beginning as the snow flies at your window. When spring allows the buds to form the deepening of the downturn will cause many to lose hope. In the past there have been famines and droughts, fires, earthquakes and wind, but this catastrophe shall attack in a way similar to the worm that eats the wood. After a year or two I shall look upon my people and lift them from the mire. Trust in me shall provide an area of safety to “float” upon until you step on solid ground. You shall be able to provide for the needs of the people through my power. Lives will be healed. Bodies will be fed.”
The Lord directed me to share the information about the shaking with my husband who, at the time was more focused on money instead of the Word of God. Due to the Lord’s warning my family left the stock market and thus protected the value of our retirement funds when the next winter brought a downturn of the economy and the next fall there was a great stock market plunge then under the Lord’s guidance we reinvested for a large material gain. I know that this exercise was to teach us to trust Him not just in worldly preparation but in the more important things of life—how difficult it is to set aside worldly preparation! The following year, my husband had to leave the work force due to the sudden health issue of heart failure. This gave him the time and desire to focus on the Word of the Lord. And a couple of years later we unhesitantly began a new ministry together under the Lord’s guidance that took a sizeable financial investment and which became the base of these podcasts. And his health improved.
The prophetic gift is given to the servants of God who set aside their own inclinations to label the thoughts and desires of God to be set before the people. Know this: inspiration from the Lord lightens the load and whisks the inspiration to the high place in the tabernacle, the tent, where it is set to give light, God’s light, to the people. Most of the time–when I speak and teach the words of the Lord to the people–I don’t make the claim that it is something I heard from the Lord. One time Lord told me “That they do not know it is His word is not as important as the hearing of His words so that their faith shall come.”
Now, let me share more of the things the Lord wants us to know! He loves you! You please the Lord as you step out among men to show His love to one another. The everlasting drop of the blood of Jesus covers the sin of the world and indeed covers the black hearts of despair, of pride, the lethargic hearts of complacency, the grieving hearts filled with pain. Show God’s love, that others might know this—that the drop of His blood provides freedom and unity with the Father for all who turn their hearts toward Him.
Know how much God loves you and His people. Difficult times are sometimes necessary to burn the dross that has tangled our lives. Provide a clearing, a light on the hill, a place of safety of refuge and the people will flock to this for relief. Do not fear. The flames will not burn you or your households; when you have prepared well in advance with you spiritual fire breaks and plantings. As life giving water flows from your mouths the destructive fire shall be quenched and the fire of the Spirit shall burn brightly. Again, the Lord says fear not. Do not hide your light—you will not be overwhelmed or overcome by the throngs who come seeking refuge. Myriads of angels shall surround you and your ministries.
See how much God loves you, He has called each of you—at various times—to overlap your lives and build friendships. You are a family; you are a tribe, a nation, but most of all: His kingdom. Fear not. Set your lives before the Lord so you can find His freedom.
As the desert seeks to claim the land of the living, to encroach, to sap its water, know this: The Lord says “I Am the life come down to earth to replenish, to restore, to bring revival. I want to share something the Lord told me just this week. “Consider this: the people who are living in darkness, who have—up to this moment in time—who have kept their face turned away from Me, will hear a great sound and it will turn their stiff necks to see and learn. And they will know that I Am God and that redemption can be theirs. .. The complacent—these shall struggle the most. The self-satisfied who have met Truth but have not consumed it with Fire, these children need the most help. They hear but (they) do not listen. We shall prepare them like a field that is filled with (cedar) saplings. … A tractor and a ‘brush-hog’ keep the field cleared so that it is near ready for plowing and planting.
The Lord says, “This I tell you truly, the days shall not be complete until the Son of Man appears upon the horizon to gather the people of God into the waiting arms of the Father. Fear not! Such a day shall be for the Glory of God and will be a day of rejoicing for those who love the Lord and call on his name. Those who turn away will not be herded forcefully but will be allowed to follow their choice into darkness.”
This day was made by the Lord. As you continue to pray and speak know this: God loves you. God shall continue to love you whether or not you continue to serve Him by serving the people. As you complete the tasks He has given you He shall awaken in your heart the anointing you have received through the Lamb and the power of the Holy Spirit. Many shall be set free from inequity and infirmity as you set your heart on their needs and lift them to the Lord, to heaven.
The Lord says, “I Am. I Am. I Am. Remember this in the days to follow. Rejoice in this knowledge. I love you.”
Scripture in the book of Exodus chapter 3 says: 13“But,” said Moses to God, “if I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what do I tell them?” 14 God replied to Moses: I am who I am. Then he added: This is what you will tell the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you. 15 God spoke further to Moses: This is what you will say to the Israelites: The LORD, the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is my name forever; this is my title for all generations.”
As you sit before the Lord, know this: God loves you. As you continue to lay (down) your life before Him, sometimes you will wonder if it is all real, all true. Know this, the conditions you shall see are temporary—both the distress and the remedy. The earth in its fullness has opened an area for release, to once again thirst for balance in the spiritual and thus regain balance in the natural. The conclusion of all distress shall be rapid, swift. If not, even those close to the Lord might lose hope. Fear not. The Great I Am is with you. The Lord goes before you clearing your path of danger and strife; you may experience these things but you shall endure until the fullness of time is restored.
Before you go, know this: The corruption of this generation began with a decision to seek self-gratification instead of gratifying the Lord your God. Each step towards interior (selfish) gain is rewarded by momentary pleasure yet it is hollow, a cancer that eats upon its host. The end of corruption shall take place as this generation turns from self-centered gain and materialism and dedicate their lives to the splendor of God’s Will. The Lord chooses “success” for His children. The difference is the goal to be attained. Harden not your own heart in the luxury to which you have been placed. Use the tools, use the talents. All this shall pass away. Do not regret your omission. Step forward into the flow of the river and show people the Way.
As you search for the path of life, you shall not stumble; you shall not fall. You shall choose the path that leads to life; you shall choose the Way of the Lord. As you walk along the path there shall be hills and valleys. Continue to look ahead to the Glory of God and you shall find the strength needed to complete your journey. As soon as you reach a plateau of rest you will know the Lord’s peace. His glory awaits those who seek His face. His Glory enters into those who seek and find His heart. When you are given a task you work towards accomplishing it. You do not always succeed due to limitations of faith. Step into the heart of Jesus and there you shall find the faith you need to finish all tasks assigned to you. Continue to walk with Him, to listen to His Word, to His Voice, to His servants who have been faithful.
The Lord says, “I Am the Lord God almighty. Blessed is the One who comes in the Name of the Lord. Blessed are those who believe but have not seen. Blest are those who hear the voice of the Lord and keep His Commands—to Love the Lord your God with all your heart and to love others as self.” The Lord says, “You are my beloved. As you search your heart you know this to be true.”
The Lord says, “My Child, the days ahead may be difficult at times. Confusion may abound at times, but know this: I, the Lord your God, Am with you! I shall not leave your side. I am one with you as I am One with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Whenever you call upon His Name and the power of the Holy Spirit in love He shall hear what you ask and give good gifts. The delay might have a purpose; the bondage of the particular heart may cause a partial block to the receipt of grace—but anyone who asks for prayer is not totally blocked. All these can be helped, be healed. Worry not about “how” to pray. Lift your voice to the Spirit to pray with you. The Father thus grants the blessings called upon by pure love. Your own love joins within the Spirit and in unity healing takes place. Intercession for others can also be effective, yet free will may cause some blockage—occasionally complete blockage—but know this: love is stronger than a “jack-hammer” in penetrating hardened hearts.
As you sift through the events of the day know this: God’s love for you is unchanging. It is complete; it is enough for you. Fear not the ebbs and flows of grace. What you need is provided when you need it. Sometimes the world does seem to overwhelm. Your (own) choices are a major part of this but, also remember, that there is no perfection in this world. The decay that is a natural part of it witnesses this truth—However, God is perfection. God is life. God is the hope of many who seek His face. When the eternal moment takes ‘time’ you shall see the heritage fulfilled. Until then, remember to love, pray, have joy, and share. These provide an abundant life—even in the midst of ‘imperfection’.
