Day 21. Truth of the Spirit Daily Meditations for Lent. Welcome to Truth of the Spirit. I am Patti Brunner. This is day 21 of “Daily Meditations for Lent” on Tuesday week 3. We will share personal revelations given during Lent for you to discern and other contemplations each day.
I heard the Lord say, on a Tuesday of 3rd week of Lent, “My child, as you rested in My Glory, I have healed the pain you felt in rejection. You have discovered that repentance for your own reaction and forgiveness of others opens the heart for healing. Some of the others haven’t had a fire in their hearts for quite a while. Others are fearful that the blaze will get out of control and so they quench the little flame. Fear is so destructive to my gift of faith – it causes the bloom to fade and fall before the fruit is set.”
I asked, “How can we fan the flame, Lord? Or kindle it so that the blaze burns away the doubt and fear?” The Lord replied, “My child, continue to read my Word, pray and fast and listen to my voice. A time will come when grace will explode inside you and a ‘forest fire’ will not be quenched.”
The Lord continued, “My Spirit leads you in perfect prayer. For those times you want others to hear, verbalize what is in your heart. My Spirit dwells there. Allow the love to shine through. Let an abundance of love ooze out of your heart through your mouth.
“As you witness your love for Me and for those for whom you petition, the example will be given to those who can hear. Pray for ears to be opened. Pray for eyes to be clear. It is vision and prophecy that will set these children free. It will set them free from fear and doubt. It will set them free from anger and violence. It will set them free from fear. As they trust in Me my kingdom will come upon them as it has so many. And we will be One.”
I heard the Lord say, on a Tuesday of 3rd week of Lent, which was also the first day of spring, “Child, drift away to Me not away from Me. The Holy Spirit sends the wind to power the sail.”
After ministering to youth following Stations of the Cross during Lent, this word came forth from the Lord, “Continue to prepare to reach into the darkness to grab my people by the backs of their necks and bring them to safety. The desert has an allure for those who are lost. They see the painted walls and see mirages. They die of thirst because they do not know how to seek Jesus, the Living Water.”
The Lord continued, “The evidence of my Love will soon be evident. As you pray, the people will respond to my grace and be freed and healed. The teacher becomes the student; the student will teach. It is the Spirit that enters the head and the heart. It is the Spirit that teaches the teacher and the student as the gift of humility opens wide the door to Love and the Father’s Kingdom. Consider this; consider all the people who need a touch from the Lord. How many realized and seek my Face? Set the people free—tell them I Am is a loving and powerful God: The God of Abraham, The God of Moses, and The Creator of all that is, that was and that will come to be. Enter the gates with thanksgiving.”
After speaking to young families during Lent, this word came forward from the Lord, “The decision of each man, woman, child to accept the kingdom of God as truth, as the Way, as life centers on a surrender of self for the benefit of others—including for the benefit of pleasing God. When one steps out of ‘self’ – whether “self-preservation’ or ‘selfish pleasure’ or ‘selfish wealth’ or ‘self-centered fear’ – the Kingdom can be attained. Being ‘one’ with the Lord requires you to ‘die to self’. It is only by being one with the Father that you can actually be the completely unique creation that the Lord intended at your creation. For it is then that you stop bending according to the wind of the world’s desire and judgement and you stand tall in the Light of Christ. The everyday living and choosing measure your potential for kingdom fruit. As you ‘produce’ this fruit, others are fed and enriched as the kingdom also enters their lives.”
I heard the Lord say, on a Tuesday of 3rd week of Lent, “My Child, as you sit before Me, know this: I love you. As you continue to lay your life before Me, sometimes you will wonder if it is all real, all true. Know this, the conditions you shall see are temporary—both the distress and the remedy. The earth in its fullness has opened an area for release, to once again thirst for balance in the spiritual and thus regain balance in the natural. The conclusion of all distress shall be rapid; the conclusion of all distress shall be swift. If not, even my children might lose hope. Fear not. I am with you. As you just read in Joshua, [Joshua chapter 1:3] I go before you clearing your path of danger and strife; you may experience these things, but you shall endure until the fullness of time is restored.
“Who shall you seek? Who are the lonely? Certainly, the children you visit each week. Also, those who gather at Church who sit alone. But the children to whom I call you are lonely by the word of God. Set apart for my purposes they shed the interaction and they ‘appear’ lonely to the world and to themselves. I Am with them.”
I heard the Lord say, on a Tuesday of 3rd week of Lent, “In the event that you battle grief in the future know that the battle is always overcome by this blessing bestowed as you ‘step’ into the heavenly realm. ‘Here’ there is no sorrow, no grief, no regret. There is only joy, laughter and peace. Remember this as you minister to those battling the depressive grief—the grief of regret. You yourself still battle flashes of regret. The enemy will continue the barrage. Look the other way. Combat with happy and wholesome memories as best you can. If you list them, it might help you to recall them. The intensity of the final days of your loved one’s life on earth are burned into the subconscious. Remember peace, joy, and happy moments. Yes, it is what brought healing to others, and it shall help you also.
This Lent the Lord has more to tell us about the restoration. This is Day 21. We invite you to listen each day for words from the Lord and Daily Meditations for Lent. Remember: “The Kingdom of God is at hand: repent and believe in the Gospel.” “Prepare for it, ready your heart.” The transcript of this episode is available at PatriarchMinistries.com/291. Come back tomorrow for more. With the Holy Spirit there’s always more. Amen.
