This is Day 8 of Truth of the Spirit’s Daily Prophetic Words to Prepare the Way of the Lord—Advent Pearls of Sunday of the Second Week of Advent. I am Patti Brunner. Playlist: Daily Advent Pearls
The Lord says: My Child, turn each day your heart towards Me. Look for Me with eyes that see, and you will see Jesus in each person around you. Listen for Me with ears that hear, and you will know Me in the scripture, and you will know Me in the voice of my Spirit in your heart.

There is a sweetness when goodness is found in others that cannot be surpassed by sweets that fill the Christmas cabinet. This sweetness comes from recognizing the love that reflects the love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the ordinary lives of man.
When you think that times are hard remember a moment of this sweetness and you will see God rather than despair—Hope instead of pain—Love instead of suffering. For when we turn our eyes to search for Jesus, He will be there in the glimmer of a moment to fill our hearts with His peace.
Give your peace to others. Accept My peace for yourself. Continue to love and be loved in Christ Jesus, the Son of God Most High who reigns forever and ever and who resides in the hearts of men.
Praise be Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Praise be God forever!
The Lord says: My child, these little ones need to be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas and that the Gift given to them celebrates this day is the Gift of Life, Hope and a Light for the world. We celebrate redemption with joy.
As a child comes to rule, the world is caught unaware. The humility of true God true man sets the stage for the way to heaven and eternal peace and joy. When Adam and Eve sinned, it was due to lack of humility—lack of obedience. Jesus came to be the model of obedience—obedient to his early parents and to his Divine Father. For now, keep the focus on the child. As Theresa showed, heaven can be gained by the childlike who totally trust in the Lord. You may use your research on the foretelling of the Messiah fulfilled by Christ—only to point out that the ‘Old Testament’ should be read with the viewpoint of ‘Christology’. “True God, true Man” is key and what the children need to know.
Jesus, the Messiah, was not what the people were expecting. They were disappointed—they didn’t realize that He was much more than their expectations. Build expectant hearts in my people. Tell them there is more.
The Lord says: My child, as the days of Advent roll by, continue to prepare your heart and home to receive the joy of My birth.
The prophet Isaiah proclaimed in Chapter 40: “A voice cries out: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level.”
St. Paul wrote to the Romans Chapter 15 “May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus”
He wrote to the Philippians Chapter 1: “The one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.”
The book of 2 Peter Chapter 3 points out: “Do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like one day.”
