Phillip Scott in Arkansas for the leaders of the Arkansas Catholic Charismatic Renewal.  The theme for the retreat is “Come to the Water”.  In this second episode of the series, Fr. Philip Scott, explains the importance of saying “Fiat” to the Father’s will for us, even when it involves suffering.  He introduces us to the causes of the “Father Wound” and the “Mother Wound”.

It is that we never as a son or daughter bonded emotionally with our father and mother, our biological parents.  Children spell love T I M E.  Fr. Philip Scott also tells us:  “Wisdom is seeing life with God’s eyeglasses.”  “God has to drench us, and he allows us a difficulty so we will need him and him alone.”   And that in “God’s arithmetic, 1+1+1=1”.  Say “Fiat” with Fr.
